Agwunwa, Theophilus Chinonso is a Nigerian artist whose art works are exploration of numerous waste materials most especially fabric.

In the execution of his paintings with Ankara fabric(African Print), he isn’t simply conceptualizing daily activities in his paintings, he however transforms waste materials to wealth, to him “He see beauty in transforming waste to wealth”

About the Artist

Agwunwa Theophilus Chinonso hails from Ejeme Aniorgor, Aniocha South, Delta State, Nigeria. In his tender age, he discovered his gift as an artist, both visual and performing art drawing almost everything he sees around his environment and practicing musical instruments as well.

He is also a trained teacher currently teaching in one of the renowned schools in FCT-Abuja alongside his studio practice. He teaches the primary and secondary categories to help them foster the same enthusiasm that he has for arts in general and has also led the students to participate in several competitions with trophies in return.
